/ About / built by

Built by an operator who ships every day.

Bruce Ramos has spent 20 years inside Latin and US music, mostly on the business side. He Co Founded DSTRO7 (boutique Latin distribution, AudioSalad backed). He owns AstraBrava, the holding company for 8 working music tech products. Before that he was SVP Digital Monetization at Del Records. The workflows in this course are the same workflows Bruce uses to keep all of it shipping every week.

This is not a course taught by Bruce. It is a course built from how Bruce actually operates. The difference matters because credibility comes from the work, not the lecture.

/ Career

20 years in the seats this course is built for.

  1. 2005 to 2014
    Operator across digital monetization roles

Early DSP era. Learned the catalog reporting stack before it was a stack. Lots of Excel, lots of statements with no checksums, lots of money found by hand.

  2. 2014 to 2022
    SVP Digital Monetization, Del Records

Ran digital revenue for one of the largest US-based Regional Mexican labels. Statements, claims, DSP relationships, content ID, and the people side of Latin radio crossing over to streaming.

  3. 2023 to present
    Co Founder, DSTRO7

Boutique Latin distribution. White glove, not DIY. Built on AudioSalad. Runs lean by design and uses every workflow in this course in production.

  4. 2024 to present
    Owner, AstraBrava

Holding company for 8 music tech products including MusicOps, CatalogIQ, proof.audio, DMPitch, DMPrep, Cuentalo. Customer zero for most workflows that end up in MusicIndustryAI.

  5. 2025
    Bruce Brain operating system

An always on AI ops layer that runs across the portfolio. Decision support, intel routing, content pipelines, agent fleets. The pieces of it that translate to a single operator are what this course teaches.

/ Why this course now

Because the gap between operators who use AI and operators who do not is now the gap that decides who keeps a seat.

Three years ago AI in music was a novelty. Two years ago it was a strategy slide. One year ago it became the difference between a label that ships 200 quality releases a year with 4 people and one that ships 60 with 12.

Most courses still teach AI to artists and producers. The business side keeps quiet. That gap is the entire reason this course exists. The people who run the calendar, the statements, the deals, the tours, the rollouts. That is who this is for.

If a label admin recovers 8 hours a week, a manager turns 4 hour deal memos into 20 minute deal memos, and an A&R replaces a junior scouting headcount with a Slack agent, the math on a $497 lifetime ticket is not a debate.
